Sixteen80 is not a corporate holding company or a hands-off classic car dealership. It is the personal atelier of Keith Taylor, whose automotive career began with a four-year indentured apprenticeship in commercial vehicles, rising to workshop foreman within five years.
After serving for seven years as the UK Plant Engineer for a Danish industrial equipment manufacturer traveling across the British Isles, Keith established Roundwood Garage in 1993, incorporating in 2003. By 2010, he expanded to Grimbald Park, operating a flagship Class 4, 5, and 7 commercial MOT and safety centre trusted by North Yorkshire County Council (NYCC), the renowned Bettys and Taylors Group, and SB Utilities.
In 2016, Keith divested the high-volume commercial MOT business to devote his life to what he loved most: the preservation, restoration, and mechanical perfection of classic and vintage motorcars. At Sixteen80, every vehicle receives the undivided attention of a true master engineer.

Independent Practice Founded
Establishing an independent workshop, later incorporated in 2003 as Roundwood Garage Ltd (Company #04781365).

Operating a premier commercial safety centre entrusted with municipal and corporate fleets including Bettys & Taylors.
